Meet the newest addition to our family – Bratton. . . Piper is being a great big sister! Piper is a golden retreiver born June 2010. Bratton is a human born August 2011.

I thought I would save myself some money and try a catfood from the grocery store. . . This morning she threw up, the first time EVER! Well, I’m not giving them anymore of THAT garbage.

Kumpi has been Frankie’s main source of food for about 8 years. He’s 15-1/2 years old and still going strong. Kumpi has been a major factor in his longevity.

He did well during surgery, tolerated his medication well. He had to go off his KumpiKat while his mouth healed. So two days into an all can food diet we were cleaning diarrhea off his rear every few days . . .

Zuni has been on Kumpi for several years now… Zuni recently completed his Open Agility title with a 1st Place.

I compete in NADAC agility, partly because of the emphasis on safety for the competing dogs, and partly because it is just plain fun and my dogs love it. I’m usually the only person with a GSD at the trials.

Quinta & Chaos are expecting a litter over Labor Day Weekend… All my dogs are crazy about agility, whether training or competition, and ‘sing’ when we head to the training fields or trials.

Although I have lost my job and our family is on one income, my teens have made it clear that they are willing to eat PB&J sandwiches and Ramen noodles to ensure that both dogs will continue to be fed Kumpi…

Big birthday celebrations at my house! Bunny (and three sibliings) turned 10 today… Plus… her aunt Jubilee turned 13!!! Those are great ages for German Shepherds, and I believe a lot of the credit must go to Kumpi.

Tonga, the Office Manager at Kumpi Corporate Headquarters, turns 21 years old this week. No, that is not a typo… she really is twenty-one years old!…

Fortunately I love grooming because his hair is very fine and easily matts. However, it wasn’t until we switched to Kumpi that it became completely manageable…
