Upon closer inspection, it turns out that the squirrel had eaten EVERY BIT of the Kumpi, and had LEFT all of the major brand food behind, scattered all over the place!!!
I just had to share this funny story!
Back when I first started my kitties on Kumpi, my budget was kind of tight, so I always had a ziplock bag full of cat food available, in case I couldn’t get to the store before I ran out of Kumpi. The bag was a mix between Kumpi and another major brand cat food. That bag sat in my pantry, waiting to be used for an emergency.
After quite a while (probably a year!), I finally decided I was never going to need it, and I threw the ziplock bag away in the trash.
Well, we have squirrels in our neighborhood, and they would often dine in our trash. They never made much of a mess, which is why I was surprised when I went out on the back porch one day and there was all this “stuff” spread out all over the place!
What the heck IS that stuff?
I saw that the trash bag had a hole in it… and I spotted the ziplock with the same hole. Ah-HA… the squirrel had gotten to the cat food!
BUT… what was all this stuff all over the place?
Upon closer inspection, it turns out that the squirrel had eaten EVERY BIT of the Kumpi, and had LEFT all of the major brand food behind, scattered all over the place!!!
Even a starving squirrel won’t eat that major brand cat food!!! Ha ha ha!!!
