Bast

A few months after changing her over to Kumpi, I noticed that her wheezing had significantly reduced.  And now, even later, her coughing, sneezing, and mucus have completely cleared up!

Bast has been my best friend for about 6 or 7 years, and has been eating KumpiKat for the past 3 years. Look at her eyes… I like to think she’s part kittie, part dragon! :-)
x
I adopted Bast and her mother, Calliope, from a local animal shelter.  The lady who helped us told us that they were going to spay Calliope that night, but they couldn’t spay Bast because she was very sick with the yucky respiratory-thing that kitties get in shelters.
x
However, when we picked them up the next morning, they had BOTH been spayed!  Both of them ended up being hospitalized.  Calliope recovered quickly, but Bast took way longer. Thanks to someone’s very poor judgement, permanent damage was done to her respiratory system.
x
For several years, Bast spent her life wheezing, and constantly coughing and sneezing out heavy amounts of mucus.  I kept taking her to different vets. After hundreds of dollars worth of tests, each of them would tell me, “Give her more vitamins to boost her immune system.”
x
That’s it?!
x
But no matter what vitamins I tried, her condition never improved.

A few months after changing her over to Kumpi, I noticed that her wheezing had significantly reduced.  And now, even later, her coughing, sneezing, and mucus have completely cleared up!  I couldn’t believe it!  I guess I finally found those “vitamins” that the vets had been so elusive about!
x
Now she’s so much healthier, and her fur is absolutely luxurious… the black is a beautiful shiny black, and the white is a stunning white!  I can’t help but bury my face in her fur every chance I get.  She’s gorgeous and happy!

Thanks Evy!!

It was the name she came with. It was the name of the goddess of women and cats, so I kept it. =)
