Sapphire will be 21 next month. . . I rescued Venus and Sheba from a man who was going to ‘throw them away’. . . As you can see, they are healthy, happy, well adjusted BFF.

Frankie is 17 years old!!! He’s been eating Kumpi for 10 years. It’s one reason why he’s lived this long.

We always have to laugh at how our ‘kids’ never bother to pick up their toys. . . Is it any wonder why people tend to live longer, happier lives when they have pets?

It’s all just a matter of perspective. =)

We started feeding our dog Kumpi. . . when he was about 8 years old, to see if it would help his dry skin. It did, so we stuck with it. In April he will be 15. . .

When the specialist did an ultrasound, it showed a 10cm (4″) tumor where Reason’s small and large intestines meet. And they were 97% sure it would be malignant. . . but it had ruptured…
NOTE FROM KUMPILOVE: Reason’s father and mother both died of cancer at a young age. Robin did not realize Reason’s pedigree was riddled with cancer before she’d fallen in love with him and taken him home.

His name is Murphy. He’s going to be a therapy dog one day. He’s in the process of completing the first of many classes and doing very well. . .

And the wolf shall be a guest of the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; the calf and the young lion shall browse together, with a little child to guide them. . .

. . .What’s a mother to do? Call my favorite friend/GSD breeder for the very best dog food. . . Kumpi, of course.

They love boating on the Chesapeake Bay!. . . And Nate’s energy level is unsurpassed. He goes full speed ahead until it’s time for a nap.
Here’s a video of Bast playing with her favorite toy. You’d think she was still a kitten the way she carries on. . .
